As our vision statement proclaims, the Prescott & District Chamber of Commerce is committed to business retention and economic development through teamwork and innovation on the part of its members.  2012 is shaping up to be a banner year for the Chamber, building on the success of 2011 which saw a wholesale revamping of our image and our mission in the community.  We are refocused and committed to concrete action in the promotion of the business interests of South Grenville.  This has already borne fruit with our support of the Eastern Ontario Wood Centre, as well as a potential new industrial development in the North End of Prescott benefitting all three member municipalities.  Add to this an exciting new Tourism project and the Chamber is well on its way to even greater success.  It is my hope that we can all continue to work together in partnership with all organizations and levels of government to ensure the continued prosperity of South Grenville for years to come.

The Chamber continues to demonstrate its support of local events by contributing to Harbour Days, the Fort Town Concert Association, the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival and the Prescott Public Library Rejuvenation project. These commitments to our community are examples of our support of cultural tourism, family values and activities and the ongoing growth of our Town.
